Class Projects & Auction Items

We’ll donate a gift certificate good for five free studio visits to Brushstrokes for your Fundraisers and Auctions.
No need to send us a donation request!  If you're a local school or non-profit, we will happily make a donation.  Please come by the studio to pick up a donation package from us along with some flyers to display at your auction. Allow us a few minutes to prepare the donation package on the spot.  We will give you a sheet of paper describing the donation/value but we ask you to fill out the donation form on our behalf. (Thanks for helping making it easier to donate to your school!)

We’ve also helped many school groups hand-decorate pottery for auction items—a guaranteed winner at school auctions because the pieces are beautiful, functional, and designed by the kids. We’ll help with ideas and walk you through the process. You’ll buy the paints and the pottery from us (plates, platters, and tile mirrors are very popular) and we’ll clear glaze and fire it for FREE as an additional donation to your school.

Brushstrokes in Schools
Get a dozen or more kids together and we'll come to your school for a one time session or a series of classes! A Brushstrokes artist will bring all the materials to your school and return them to our studio to glaze and fire. Projects include working with clay, pottery or mosaics.  One-hour sessions meet once a week. Session dates are flexible to meet your school’s schedule. Subject to staff availability.
Cost: $20/student per session.  Minimum of 12 students.

After School Program and Holiday Camps
at Brushstrokes
We offer the Art Loft after school program and one day camps during school holidays. Please check our happenings for upcoming dates. 

 

Join the Green Movement!
Schools and businesses can have their faculty and staff to paint reusable cups and plates. Think of all the paper products you will save at your faculty and staff meetings! We’ll come to your school FREE OF CHARGE and host a staff/faculty team-building event.  We have worked with Redwood Day School in Oakland for many years and are happy to do the same at your school or business.
